13、吸烟青少年大脑与认知

 针对青少年吸烟群体,我们开展了一系列基础研究,例如采用弥散张量成像技术揭示吸烟青少年大脑白质纤维束弥散特性的异常(Dahua Yu, Kai Yuan et al., Addiction Biology 2015);借助皮层厚度和皮下体积测量技术发现吸烟青少年前额叶皮层厚度降低,纹状体体积增加(Yangding Li, Kai Yuan et al., Drug and Alcohol Dependence 2015);借助脑电设备考察了吸烟青少年抑制控制异常的神经机制(Junsen Yin, Kai Yuan et al., Brain Imaging and Behavior 2015)。上述的研究发现,综合了白质和灰质的结构异常,并揭示了吸烟青少年行为异常的神经机制,提高我们对青少年吸烟的认识。

More attention had been paid to adolescent smokers in our lab and several basis researches had been carried out. We employed diffusion tensor imaging to reveal the fiber integrity differences between young smokers and nonsmokers (Dahua Yu, Kai Yuan et al., Addiction Biology 2015).  In addition, we detected reduced cortical thickness of prefrontal cortex and increased striatum volume in young smokers (Yangding Li, Kai Yuan et al., Drug and Alcohol Dependence 2015). Finally, electroencephalograph methods were used to investigate the neural substrates of inhibitory control impairments in young smokers (Junsen Yin, Kai Yuan et al., Brain Imaging and Behavior 2015). Our findings combined gray and white matter abnormalities and revealed the neural mechanisms of cognitive control deficits, which enhanced our understanding of young smokers.
